Hey Everybody,

It has been a long time since I posted but I have been having some technical difficulties.  It seems like things are working now. YEAH!!!  I recently participated in a swap over at Scrap Da World.  I was a little nervous because I don't have access to a Micheal's or any craft store for that matter.  But I think I did very well!!!  Take a look and tell me what you think!!!

Using My Scraps

This weekend I decided I would try making a card using majority scrap papers.  It was a little challenging but I think I did a good job.  I finally used some ribbon that I found on my Scrapping Trip with my BFF Ericka in July! Hope you like.

Mojo Monday

I know it is Saturday and I am just posting my card for Mojo Monday, but returning to work has not left any time during the week. In addition, I am totally busted when I get home!! Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #84

Happy Monday!!!!

Today I convinced Ericka to complete the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #84 from The Sweetest Thing blog with me. I think she enjoyed it!!  Go check out her card over at her blog My Ebony Cards.

For my card I used Bazzil Swiss Dot Card stock, Olivia paper pad from Basic Grey, Martha Stewart punch for the butterflies, and Hero Arts stamp for the sentiment.

I thought the card seemed to dark when I intially chose the colors but they grew on me.  I really like the end product.

Altered Notepad

When getting ready to return to work after a long summer I usually buy a notepad/notebook of some kind.  I always try and find a really cute one with a printed design on it.  I am sure you know what I mean.  Well this year since I have all this product from making cards and scrapbook pages, I thought I would try my hand at making an "altered notepad".  So in this post you will see the before and after. Mojo Monday

Ok, today I got my MOJO on. This is the first time I participated in the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge. I used patterned paper from My Mind's Eye and Bazzill Basics. The flower is from Hampton Art stamps and the sentiment is from Hero Arts.  I really enjoyed myself today.  My son started soccer camp today and the uninterrupted time was great!!
