My First Card Swap!!!!

Good evening everyone,

I have recently decided to participate in a card swap with the women of SOC. Approx. 18 women have joined the swap, so I have to make 18 cards and I will recieve 18 cards in return. I am really excited about participating, finally there was a theme where I had some stamp sentiments that I could use. The theme was Thinking of you, Hello there, and Get well soon. I picked Thinking of you. I have decided to create about 5 designs and make 5 of each. Tonight I am posting two designs that I have created. The circle card is based off of a card from KWerner. She is awesome. Leave a comment and tell me what you think!

Early Morning Card Making

It is early in the morning. I woke to use the bathroom and thought I would sit down at my craft desk and see if I could create another design for the Mother's Day cards that I am sending out next week. So I put in a movie called Extraordinary Measures, if you have not seen it you should.
The focus of this card is the "H,M,D" ( Happy Mother's Day) I don't know if I like it, something is missing. But I posting it any.

Mother's Day Cards

I have had the best day!! My good girlfriend and I scrapped all day. The fact that she lives in Maryland and I live in Bermuda did not stop us. Skype is a wonderful thing!!!!

So today's assignment was to create a Mother's Day card for a customer. Nothing major just 10 cards. It surprised me that it took all day. But I also used the Martha Steward scoring board to make a cute box to put the cards in. The card is very simple. I used some DCWV Nana's Nursery pattern paper and some colored card stock. The majority of it was layered hearts. I accented it with some faux stitching and pink button with green floss bow.

Take a look. I hope you like it. Leave a message!

Hello Everyone,

Ok, so am really excited because I recently got back indo card making thanks to a girlfriend of mine, Thanks Ericka!!!!

The facinating thing is that I showed my cards to a co-worker of mine who owns a production company and she asked me to make her 50 thank you cards. And she paid me for them!!!!!!

Absolutely amazing!!!! I worked really hard on them and they came out perfect. Check them out.......
